Wacky Scenes at Work Ends Up With Great Results

Bang! That was the Director’s door shutting as the assistant manager Ben went out. He was furious. Ben’s subordinates never saw him that frustratingly mad before. Ben had always been one of the nicest guy in the building. He was strict but his strictness was always the right way. Everybody was wondering why he had an argument with the director. They all whispered amongst themselves their personal speculations. Some said that Ben had quit his job and even commented, “If he did I quit too!”. Others said that the argument was because the director would not want to give the proper benefits for the employees. All of them never liked the way things are run around the company. But since jobs were scarce around town and unemployment was not part of their list, they had no choice. All the rest gave their own speculations and rumors from here and there. Silence spread only when the director had to step out of his office to discuss the changes on his schedule with his secretary. Everybody likes his secretary.Pamela was the most attractive woman there was in the company. She was taller than most men and her long and curly blonde hair often make men’s heads turn. Women liked her too because she was approachable and simple. Though Pamela heard and saw how we reacted, she didn’t mind because she feels the same way. When her boss returned to his office, Ben approached her and asked, “can i receive unemployment if i quit? My unemployment will need a budget.” Though everyone had been murmuring about it before, they were all shocked by the news. A lot of the them were depressed. Most of them were sorry. Pamela gave her that sweet smile saying, “If I can give it to you before that time I will. Don’t worry.” The next months later, the company had to rehire Ben because the people’s moral was hurt with his resignation. They had to convince him until he finally decided to return if all the benefits of the people are given.
