Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia are almost alike but with a little difference and hence to be able to understand the right meaning of this put together, one should be able to understand the meaning of these separately. Panic disorder is a kind of health problem where a problem loses the control over his fears and instead his fears start taking control of him. This is generally expressed in the form of a physical expression called panic attacks. On the other hand, Agoraphobia is the fear of crowd and moreover, it is the fear of not being able to escape that crowd. Some people when they are in crowded place, they start feeling that they will get an anxiety attack and when they do, they will not be able to escape the crowd and will get stuck in it, making a fool of themselves in the public. This fear of them causes Agoraphobia or the fear of being in a public place or the fear of not being able to escape from a public place.

Thus, Agoraphobia is also a kind of panic disorder but of a special kind. So, one could try CBT, relaxation techniques, Hypnotherapy, panic medicines etc. However, it is only best that you take the advice of an expert. Consult a psychiatrist for Treating Panic Attacks and he will give you the best advice regarding how to deal with your problem.
