Have You Tried A Driving Experience As A Day Out?
April 22, 2010 on 12:08 am | By admin | In Recreation and Sports | Comments OffThe general consensus with gifts and consumerism is that we remember experiences more than we do the things we’ve owned in the past. If this is true, isn’t it better to give someone an experience as a gift?
Many people are cottoning onto this, and a favourite gift these days is to offer someone an experience day – where they can choose an experience of their choice – be it driving a high performance car, going up in a hot air balloon, sky diving or parachuting, going off road in a 4 x 4, rolling down a hill in a zorb ball or even bungee jumping.
One of the more popular experience day events in the UK seems to be the driving experience – in particular high performance cars. This is every man’s fantasy – to drive in a top of the range vehicle at breakneck speed around a racing circuit.
Typical driving experiences include the Audi R8 V10 experience day and the Lamborghini driving experience day. And talking of the Audi R8 V10, the shy and retiring Jeremy Clarkson stated mildly that this is the “best car in the world” – it’s almost worth trying out the Audi just to see what Jeremy’s on about.
As experience days are becoming more popular, there’s now a lot more choice (and competition) for experience days – which is good for the end customer as you shouldn’t have too far to travel to your day out, nor pay out too much for your unique experience.
