How to Get Approved for a Car Loan with Bad Credit – It’s Simple and Quick Online
June 18, 2010 on 7:08 am | By admin | In Recreation and Sports | Comments OffYou have recently decided that you should get a new car because your old one is starting to look like a wagon for the homeless. You already have the model picked out but the only thing you are worried about is how to buy a new car with bad credit, without spending your life savings on a down payment.
Here are three of the most important tips you can use in order to get a great deal on a car loan in spite of having terrible credit:
1. Never reveal your credit standing to the car dealer until after you have negotiated on the price of the car you want. Dealerships have a store policy of overpricing the vehicles they sell to those who they know have adverse credit because of the desperation factor. Keep your composure and never back down on negotiations. A lot of people make the mistake of falling apart in front of the dealership and come close to begging for a car. That would be a worse move for you so keep your cool and play like a winner.
2. Do not disclose the actual amount of deficit on your trade in because once you do they will only give you something that is based on what you still owe. This would put you in a very bad position where you are backed in a corner, your hands will be tied, and you will have no other choice.
3. Do not accept the terms and rates just like that. These dealerships make a fortune out of jacking up the prices of the car, the interest rates, everything else that they can charge you for. They have absolutely no qualms on squeezing every last penny from your pocket as long as they can increase their profits.
If you decide that you really want to go to dealerships to buy a car, you should at least contest their interest rates. Tell them that you are not going to accept a rate that is too high and obviously padded. This would let them know that you are not some moron who will easily fall for their traps and that you are ready to take your business somewhere else if they do not meet your needs.
