What You Need To Think About When Purchasing A New Car For Yourself
June 8, 2010 on 2:12 pm | By admin | In Recreation and Sports | Comments OffThe decision to purchase a car can be both exciting and worrying. Where do you begin? The first and most obvious thing you should consider is the price range. My advice: don’t get a taste for performance cars. The insurance is ridiculously expensive as are the cars themselves. You’re better off going on an experience day at your local circuit – get into a supercar – maybe an Audi R8 driving experience or even a Lotus Driving Experience – just get it out of your system and don’t get involved in actually buying one of these!
Even if you are fortunate enough not to be restricted by a budget, be very careful. However, a majority of folks do not have this privilege. First decide on an amount above which you will not spend. Next, what is the purpose of buying the vehicle and who is going to use it? Are you a single bachelor who wants to drive to work an occasionally take a sporty two door car out on weekends or a single mom with a baby or a father with a whole family? This will decide on the size of the car – sedan, hatchback and how many it will seat. Petrol or diesel is not really that important a question. Luggage space or not, on the other hand, is. Now that you have selected a model, you need to decide on the color. Very often you will be limited by the factory options or price again. Lastly, you would look at extras and options. These would include air conditioning, GPS, speaker systems and music, power windows and steering, etc. So choosing a car isn’t that big a deal once you know exactly what you want and follow these simple steps.
